| Abstract: Contains features representing historic district boundaries. Two basic types of districts are provided: City districts and National Register districts. | |||
| Purpose: Feature classes are used to determine if a property is inside one of these Historic Districts. Properties that fall within these districts may be entitled to various development incentives and/or regulations, and City Historic Districts are subject to zoning regulations. These GIS layers were used to relate properties (hence addresses) to the correlating historic districts for use in the City's data warehousing and central address systems. | |||
| Supplemental Information: Feature level metadata is provided in the EditBy and EditDate fields. Every feature in the GIS layer tracks who edited it, and when it was last edited. Additional feature level metadata is provided in Ordinance and Adoption Date fields that indicate the dates when specific historic areas became official.
