| Abstract: Contains features representing Bulk Collection Areas, Leaf Collection Areas, and Refuse Collection Areas | |||
| Purpose: To define/describe the extent and boundaries of the different types of Collection Areas for use in GIS mapping and geospatial analysis. Each feature class is used to relate properties (hence addresses) to their correlating Collection information for use in the City's data warehousing and central address systems. The Bulk and Leaf Collection areas are used to communicate collection Schedules, while the Refuse Collection areas share their RouteIDs with the City's data warehousing and Central Address systems. Bulk Collection areas are also used in Public Works' GIS-based Asset Management System (AMS) to coordinate and schedule responses to requests for bulk pick-up service. | |||
