Description
Abstract: Represents the Code Enforcment Division Inspector Zones.
Purpose: To define/describe the extent and boundaries of the code enforcement inspector zones for use in GIS. The Code Enforcement Zones are used in the Intranet CE Parcel Mapper application, which is used to help inspectors evaluate the status (pending, existing, late for inspection) and type (environmental, structural, safety) of code violations within their zones of responsibility. This GIS layer is used to relate properties (hence addresses) to the correlating inspector zone for use in the City's data warehousing and central address systems.
Supplemental Information: On 7/1/2009, the City adopted updated Code Inspection Zones as such: there were previously zones 1 - 30, but downsized the number of areas and renumbered from 31 - 56. The prior Code Enforcement Zones are maintained in historical archive within the geodatabase. http://www/planninganddevelopmentreview/PropertyMaintenance.aspx
