| Abstract: Represents Special Use Permits (SUP) as parcel polygons. | |||
| Purpose: While SUPs are managed as point features, modeling SUPs as polygons is performed to make it easier for users to click on and identify these records in the City's GIS web applications. | |||
| Supplemental Information: Please see metadata for Special Use Permits in the Zoning dataset. As indicated by the Entity Name attribute, the naming convention including the word "Join" appears at the end of this feature class to indicate that it was an output source from a spatial join operation. The naming convention including "ParcelASR" indicates that the Parcels are joined with Assessor information when the data is spatially joined with the SUP points to create this new feature class. So this feature class contains all of the base attributes (Assessment Ownership and Special Use Permit info) that users will need to see when identifying a property in the Zoning Parcel Mapper. This feature class is reproduced each week as part of the GIS data maintenance schedule and automated procedures. Additions to the Special Use Permit feature class are performed when an ordinance is adopted by City Council.
