| Purpose: Created for the purpose of taxing/paying for special services or infrastructure improvements which would benefit a limited area. This GIS layer is used to relate properties (hence addresses) to the correlating special assessment districts for use in the City's data warehousing and central address systems. | |||
| Supplemental Information: Venture Richmond (formerly known as "Richmond Renaissance") is the administrator of these districts for the City of Richmond. The districts include the General District, Broad/Grace Consumer District, Shockoe Slip Consumer District, Riverfront Overlay District, Riverfront Manufacturing Overlay District, and Riverfront Pre-development Overlay District.
