Description
  Abstract: Represents the following types of projects: Rezoning, Conditional Rezoning, Plan of Development, Plan of Development Amendment, Special Use Permits, Special Use Permit Amendment, Institutional Master Plan, Preliminary Community Unit Plan, Preliminary Unit Plan Amendment, Preliminary Subdivision, Conditional Use Permit, Conditional Use Permit Amendment.
  Purpose: The purpose of the Land Use Projects feature class is to manage and deliver Land Use Project records via the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) and Mapdotnet technology over the Internet. This information improves customer service functions as it is used by City agencies and the public. By making the land use project information available, the public can proactively (and more easily) find out about projects and participate in the evaluation process.
  Supplemental Information: Land Use Projects was created to support the Land Use Administration's desire/need to track projects in a geospatial context, and the ability to serve this information up to the public via the Internet. The Land Use Projects information is also use to generate reports by using a linked table in a MS Access database that references the data from the City's Publication geodatabase environment. As information is maintained in the transactional geodatabase by Land Use Administration, it is pushed to the publication environment at the end of each week, after which the web and reporting applications 'pick-up' the updates.
