| Abstract: Represents common places as building footprint features in and around the City of Richmond. | |||
| Purpose: Enables modeling of common named places as building footprints. The Landmark Buildings are designed both for cartographic display of common places and they are related to GIS address points, originating from Central Address, which enables the City to associate addresses to common names used in the Landmarks GIS model. | |||
| Supplemental Information: Landmark Building features generally emphasize the structural characteristics of a landmark. Landmarks uses a standard land use classification scheme and other hybrid approaches based upon the Americal Planning Association standards: http://myapa.planning.org/lbcs/ | |||
