Community, Youth, and Intervention Services (CYIS) is designed to improve the quality of life in neighborhoods, along with placing a greater emphasis on young people.

CYIS is comprised of the following units:
Community Care, Hispanic Liaison Officer, Police Athletic League,
Community Assisted Public Safety (CAPS), McGruff Safe Kids,
Neighborhood Assistance Officer Program,
Homeless Outreach Partnership Enforcement (HOPE) Unit,
Police Explorers, School Resource Officers, Volunteers in Policing
