The Water Resources Division provides a wide range of services related to construction activities including: comprehensive review of all plans to insure compliance with various environmental regulations, performing inspections, and issuing Land Disturbing Activity permits on private property.
Staff is responsible for reviewing and inspecting site plans to ensure compliance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood regulations, wetlands regulations, erosion and sediment control ordinances, and the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act regulations.
