RAPIDS Retiree Self Service allows retirees to login and view important pension-related information. In addition to updating personal contact information, retirees will be able to (a) view payslips, and (b) submit IRS Form W-4P's to update federal tax withholdings.

When using RAPIDS Retiree Self Service, users agree to the RRS User Agreement, and using the site in any way that is unlawful or in a manner that infringes upon any person's rights is a violation of that policy.

How to Register for the First Time

Retirees who are new to RAPIDS Retiree Self Service will need to register by clicking the "Register here" button. Users will need to enter their (a) email address, (b) last name, (c) social security number, and (d) date of birth to register. Lastly, retirees will need to create and confirm their RAPIDS Retiree Self Service password.

We estimate that it will approximately 5 minutes to register for the first time.

How to View and Print a Payslip

With just three clicks, RAPIDS Retiree Self Service users will be able to view and print payslips. First, retirees will need to log in to RAPIDS. Next, retirees will have to click "payslips" and select which payslip to review. The system will store all payslips from August 31, 2012 onward.

We estimate that it will take approximately 5 minutes to view and print your payslip.

How to Find or Change Your Password

If you forget your password, you will still be able to log in to RAPIDS Retiree Self Service by clicking Login Assistance. For your protection, a unique link to reset your password will be sent to your email address. This tutorial can also be used to reset your password.

The RRS recommends that you change your password regularly.

How to Update Your Address

You can use RAPIDS Retiree Self Service to update your personal information. This includes your marital status, email address, phone number, and address. You can also "go paperless" by changing your communication preference to E-mail; however, some critical communications such as 1099-Rs will still be sent to your home.

How to Change Your Tax Withholdings

RAPIDS Retiree Self Service will allow you to submit IRS Form W-4P. Because payroll is confirmed before your pay date, changes to federal tax withholdings may not take effect until the following pay date. The step-by-step instructions below also describe the process for submitted a VA-4P.
