The members of Staff & Support perform a variety of complex and difficult jobs to keep the Jail running as safely and smoothly as possible from fixing a plumbing problem to welding worn out metal to building the FATS facility to running the barber shop the men and women of S & S do it all! This vital RCSO office is by no means a small affair. In fact, their workforce is made up of the largest assembly of trustee workers, with nearly 80 trustees that are managed by 15 deputies.

Housekeeping maintains over 1.2 million square feet of jail property, not counting the outside grounds.

The Barbershop oversees between 300 to 400 haircuts a month.

Maintenance completes an average of 230 work orders per month.

The talent among this assorted group is unquestionable. Deputies on the team include certified electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders, builders, painters, and landscaping specialists.

However, according to the group, "New deputies do not typically come in 'green.'" Those that sign on to do the tasks at hand are not of the weak of heart or lack in stamina, given this operation can be called to respond at a moment's notice. From flooding in the basement to power outages S & S leads the front in restoring order.
