Evaluation Phase:
- Gainfully employed, in school, or seeking employment.
- Attendance at two twelve-step groups weekly for a total of eight meetings.
- Attendance at 12 group sessions with satisfactory group participation.
- Attendance at all scheduled appointments and sessions with drug court staff.
Phase I (17-week period)
In order to move to Phase II, a client must complete the following tasks:
- Remain drug-free for a minimum of 60 days.
- Be employed for a minimum of 35 hours a week or be a full-time student.
- Secure a home group and obtain an AA or NA sponsor.
- Provide written and oral presentation of an acceptable first step.
- Attend two twelve-step groups weekly for a total of 34 meetings.
- Attend 51 group sessions with satisfactory group participation.
- Attend all group sessions, twelve-step meetings and drug screens for 30 days prior to phase movement.
- Undergo random urine screens.
- Contribute 15 hours of community service work.
Phase II (17-week period)
In order to move to Phase III, a client must complete the following tasks:
- Remain drug-free for a minimum of 90 days.
- Be employed for a minimum of 35 hours a week or be a full-time student.
- Become active in the home group.
- Actively participate in group.
- Complete the 2nd and 3rd steps of a twelve-step program.
- Attend two twelve-step groups weekly.
- Attend 34 group sessions with satisfactory group participation.
- Attend all group sessions, twelve-step meetings and drug screens for 30 days prior to moving.
- Undergo random urine screens.
- Contribute 15 hours of community service work.
Phase III (17-week period)
In order to graduate, a client must complete the following tasks:
- Remain drug-free for a minimum of 120 days.
- Be employed for a minimum of 35 hours a week or be a full-time student.
- Develop and present of an acceptable relapse prevention plan.
- Act as a mentor for a new client entering the program.
- Exhibit a leadership role in the groups
- Attend 17 group sessions with satisfactory group participation.
- Undergo random urine screens.
- Attend all group sessions, twelve-step meetings, and drug screens for 30 days prior to graduation.
- Contribute 15 hours of community service work.
Aftercare (6 month period)
In order to complete aftercare, a client must complete the following tasks:
- Remain drug-free and crime free for a minimum of 10 months.
- Be employed for a minimum of 35 hours a week or be a full-time student.
- Complete step four and verification of completion of 5th step.
- Exhibit a leadership role when in group.
- Attend four twelve-step groups monthly for a total of 24.
- Attend one group monthly for a minimum of six group sessions.
- Submit to drug screens as directed by staff.
