Thomas B. Smith is a free standing community center that has a large multi-purpose room, computer lab and kitchen. Recreation amenities outside the center include playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts and a softball/football field.

Recreation programs and classes in the areas of dance, arts & crafts, sports, games and computers, are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts various sport tournaments, summer camp, special events, drop-in programs, after-school fun club, and cultural activities. Children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center.
