Jackie Crotts’ official title is CAD Administrator, but the title only captures a fraction of what he does for DEC on a daily basis.
He has been and remains instrumental in the procurement of our updated CAD system. Crotts has helped reduce the amount of time it takes for a call taker to enter an emergency call.
As a result of his research efforts and recommendations, the City of Richmond has saved more than $90,000 in hardware and maintenance expenditures. This savings was accomplished as a result of Crotts’ keen ability to identify redundant equipment maintenance costs and his skill at conducting vendor negotiations.
Crotts’ financial savvy also has paid off with a $400,000 reduction in the cost of replacing our E-911 phones and consoles.
Keep up the great work, Jackie
