Civilian of the Month

They say when it rains it pours. The first week of May proved that statement true for the Crime Analysis Unit.

The supervisor was out of the office the first week of May. Then another crime analyst suffered an illness, leaving no support at Headquarters.

To top it off, it was the week of Target prep and presentations by the sector lieutenants from the precincts.

And, just for good measure, the precinct analysts were needed to help their new captains, lieutenants and sergeants become acclimated with their new precincts and sectors.

Crime Analysts Bonita Comer and Truc Do stepped up to the plate and shared the responsibility of covering Headquarters. This approach ensured the precincts had coverage, as well as Headquarters. This also allowed the two analysts who had target the prep time needed to complete all of their assignments.

The Crime Analysis Unit, and the precincts, couldn't have done it without Bonita and Truc. Thanks for going “A Step Above” and congratulations as Civilians of the Month for May!
