Congratulations to our December Communications Officer of the Month Rebecca Wolz! During the month of December, CO Wolz handled more than 500 calls while maintaining an average ring time of 4 seconds! All while serving the citizens with courteous and professional conduct.
On Dec. 6, CO Wolz adeptly handled a mayday situation in which a group of men and women were fighting and rumored to be armed. She quickly toned out the correct number of units and slowed down other units when the need was filled. Her quick actions kept all the officers and citizens safe. Well done, CO Wolz.
On Dec. 17, she took control of a stabbing situation on the radio during which multiple units were broadcasting over each other, allowing no one to be heard. CO Wolz was able to bring the incident under control and determine which unit was marked out where and safely.
She is an asset to the Department and has represented us with excellence. Now we recognize her as the December Communications Officer of the Month.
