Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help to solve a shooting that occurred in the city of Richmond.

At approximately 9:16 p.m. on August 24, officers working in the area encountered a young girl yelling for help in the 2000 block of Creighton Road. She had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Just prior to the shooting there was a large fight that took place moments before the victim was shot.

Richmond police are asking for the public’s help in solving this crime.
