Sector/Community Policing
We must expand beyond our success with Sector/Community Policing. The officers should strive to be subject matter experts of their assigned area so that they can use an analytical/problem-solving approach to everything they do.

Professionalism
No matter what we are dealing with, we must be able to maintain or increase the level of professionalism in our encounters.

Outside of the box thinking
We need to constantly reinvent ourselves. The tools we used yesterday may not work today.

Accountability
We should hold the community just as accountable for their safety as we hold ourselves. The community needs to meet us at our level in terms of accountability.

Trust Account
We need to make routine deposits into our community trust account. In law enforcement, there will inevitably be a day when we will need to make a withdrawal.
