Robert Rush

Around 11:45 p.m. on May 4th, 2005, Robert Rush was working alone at the Uppy's Exxon station at the corner of Brook Rd. and Azalea Ave. in the city or Richmond. Two unknown black males entered the store. One went to the beer coolers at the rear of the store and the other approached Mr. Rush. The suspect at the counter pulled a gun on Mr. Rush and ordered Rush to give him the money in the register. Rush emptied the register and showed the suspect that the drawer was empty. The suspect then shot Rush in the neck, killing him.

At this time, neither suspect has been identified.
